After studying audio production at Ohio University, Dodson attended the Recording Workshop in Chilicothe, OH, and graduated with honors. Upon completion (with co-owner/engineer Ben Miller) the team moved back to Columbus and started working on a concept for a studio. Dodson designed the space to be creative, comfortable, versatile, and acoustically vibrant. Since opening Central City in November, Dodson has worked with a variety of musicians and styles: Pirate (alt-rock), Kim Joyce (hip-hop/R&B), Chris McCoy (americana), Bum Wealthy (pop/rock) and So Dark The Night (metal), to name a few.
